His style is a unique take on electronic, progressive and trance, and his tracks are a fun journey throughout various EDM genres. Over the course of a visit to his Soundcloud profile you’ll detect some progressive house, a bit of trance, dubstep and various indie incantations.
At some point as a listener, though, you should stop trying to apply labels to every sound and just sit back and enjoy the moving melodies.
One standout is “Romper Stomper,” a very enjoyable and well-produced track. It’s more aggressive than his other offerings but still upbeat, featuring strong bass and fast-moving buildups that lead to an emotional break.
Naapo shared his process of making “Romper Stomper:”
I had been listening to a few of Wezz Devall and Ummet Ozcan songs and found that they had yet to use a Dubstep style of build, I took it upon myself to make a powerful hard progressive song with strong punchy Leads, Bass-lines and melodic drops accompanied with a minimal intro that gave the perfect balance! I hope you enjoy my take on a harder style of music.
